In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.


A quite week for me since I am trying to stick to a book budget.

FOR REVIEW:

Luxe by Anna Godbersen -  This series has been out for a while and is YA historical fiction.  I have a copy already so I plan on doing a giveaway with my review soon.   Thanks to Penguin Australia for providing me with a copy.

    I love The Luxe, it was awesome! Haven't read the third or fourth books yet though, but I'm sure they'll be good :D Can't wait to hear what you think =]

    I have yet to read this series, but it's on my list of books I hope I have time to get to:) And good for you with the budget! I always try to set one but usually I manage to convince myself that the books I'm buying are somehow necessary to my existence and then the budget goes out the door:)

    Oh, and there is a mini unicorn in A Brush of Darkness, he's hilarious - likes to sleep in her underwear drawer and hump her leg.

    Oh! The LUXE :) (now you have two copies!)

    My tip: i found the prologue SO confusing... too many charcters and names etc... I re-read it three times before moving on the the first chapter. But in the end, it's not all the relevant to getting into the story. so try and just dive in and have time to read the forst few chapters in one go so you an get into ti. especially if you are not used to historical (like me :)
