My personal favourite is Desert Fish. From the cover it makes me think it is going to be a beautiful and heartwarming story. Also I prefer if a cover has a face on it that you just get a glimpse. So you have an idea but not set imagine in your head before you read it. My runner up cover would have to be Halo. I just love the romantic feel.

*waves* Hello, blog newbie here - love the idea of this feature! I'm an Aussie too but I've only seen a few of these before (I need to brush up on my book titles!), so it's good to see what's out there.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree that 'Halo' is beautiful. The silhouettes and lens flare/sun are great. I like 'Exile' for those reasons too. 'Enticed' I'm not sure about - it sort of looks like a Next Top Model photoshoot for Covergirl!
I usually do not like yellow. But these covers are stunning! I love the cover of Halo.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bunch of covers-- I love the sunset tones. I love the covers for Exile, Desert Fish, and Halo, but Yellow Cake intrigues me more than anything. Margo Lanagan is such a brilliant writer-- I never realized she was an Aussie, and hadn't heard about her new book yet! Very cool, Nic. :)
