In My Mailbox #30

Sunday, June 26, 2011

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.

BOUGHT:
Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey - YA supernatural. This is Harvey's new series and I am hoping it is as enjoyable and entertaining as the Drake Chronicles. (I had to order the US cover because it so pretty)
Hourglass by Myra McEntire - YA paranormal science-fiction genres.  Also debut author of 2011.
Sixteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton - YA contemp.  Already read this on Galley Grab but  had to order my own copy because it is a good rainy-day-comfy read.

BORROWED:
Split by Swati Avasthi - Upper YA contemp recommend to me by Nomes. Check out her review here.

TRADED:
The Messenger (aka I am the Messenger) by Markus Zusak - YA contemp by one of Australia's most well known and loved author.

FOR REVIEW:
Ward Against Death by Melanie Card - YA paranormal and debut author of 2011.  Thanks to Entangled Publishing.

WON:
Whirlwind by Robin DeJarnett - Adult contemporary romance.  Thanks to A Trail of Books Left Behind.

I had to buy my own Sixteenth Summer copy as well awhile back! I just love the sweetness of that book! I hope you enjoy Split (or hate it in a good way, haha, if you understand what I'm trying to say).

Oh I knew I should have read Sixteenth Summer but somehow I didn't get to it when it was available via S&S Galley Grab. Hourglass is still on my wishlist, it sounds very good!
