5 Great Re-Reads

Friday, December 24, 2010

Over at Persnickety Snark, Adele has created the Pernsnickety Snark FIVE Challenge.  Today's topic is 5 Great Re-Reads. Books you've LOVED so much that you went back for moreIn no particular order the winners are:

I only read this a few weeks ago and I keep going back for more.  Gorgeous writing that made my heart ache.

My favourite bunch of characters and whenever I read this I feel like I hanging out with friends.

This book is powerful, gritty and gut wrenching.  Everytime I re-read it still shakes me up but yet I still go back for more.

My favourite book in the series partly because of Claire and Shane's romance but mostly because of the action, twist and turns, suspense and witty characters that you can't help but love.

This book will come up every year as it is my all time favourite read.  INCREDIBLE plot and unforgettable characters.

~Honourable Mention~
Other re-read favourites!

Maybe I should reread Saving Francesca - I read it for the first time earlier this year and adored it. I didn't review it at the time because I didn't think I could do it justice - it's just pretty close to perfection, I think.

Nic, you sure are introducing me to some great books. I've heard great things about Blue Raw but the others are still new to me. I'm loving that Beautiful cover.

Great choices! I've been wanting to read Beautiful for so long. It looks like the kind of book I'd like. Same with Melina Marchetta. (I wish I could read quicker...maybe I should cull some of my Google Reader blogs?)

Nice honourable mentions, too. I can't wait for my copy of HARMONIC FEEDBACK to arrive in the mail. Should be next week! *crosses fingers*

@ Cass - Beautiful is good but be warn it is extremely gut wrenching and Reed doesn't leave any details out in the bad parts. But I love this book anyway.

You must read Marchetta, just cut out sleep :D
