In My Mailbox #40

Sunday, September 18, 2011

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.

For Review:
Devoted by Hillary Duff - This is the sequel to Elixir.  Haven't read the first one is the series yet so I am curious if anyone has, do they recommend it?  Thanks to Simon & Schuster.

Bought:
Shut Out by Kody Keplinger - YA contemp that reminds me of a good romantic comedy.  If you like The DUFF (Keplinger's debut book) you will probably like this.
Isle of Night by Veronica Wolff - YA vampire novel.  This sounds so amazing.  Can't wait to get started.

Gifted:
I'll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan - YA contemp that looks like such a heartbreaking story.  Also one of my favourite covers of 2011.

What did you get in your mailbox?

I'm looking forward to reading Shut Out, it sounds so good. I didn't know there was going to be a sequel to Elixir though, I just bought it at Borders, but I haven't read it yet. Enjoy!

I couldn't finish the first book Elixir so I don't recommend that one.
Shut one, the cover is just so interesting and I have been seeing a lot of reviews about it on blogsphere, I might have to check it out.
Isle of Night, is on my TBR. I really want to read this.
I'll Be There, oh god this is going to be one angsty story!! And it does have a beautiful cover.

Enjoy the books :D

I haven't read Elixir, but I haven't heard the greatest things. This past week at the Borders closing sales here, it was even 80% off price and I wouldn't buy it, lol.

YAY for Shut Out!

I enjoyed Elixir by Hilary Duff, and I'm excited for the sequel. With Elixir, I thought I had things sussed out, but then I was wrong. It may have just been me, but I enjoy books that surprise me :).

Happy reading!! (My IMM)

Hey! It's been a while, ay? Anyway I'm a bit afraid to get SHUT OUT because of the mixed reviews... I also got DEVOTED for review. I don't know what to do with it right now, honestly. I've never seen ELIXIR in shops. Also want to hear what you have to say about I'LL BE THERE.

Happy reading!
