Over at the awesome Inkcrush, Nomes is doing a half yearly list of her favourite books so far. They are 3 different lists The Books, The Characters and The Scenes & The Random. The books are any books you have read in 2011 so far regardless of what year they were published. I will be posting my lists over the following week. Anybody can participate just make sure to visit Inkcrush.
2. most powerful book - This Gorgeous Game by Donna Freitas. Subtle in the way it affects you but is a story I will never forget.

I loved sweethearts by Sara Zarr-I remember crying. I haven't read it in a long time so I'll have to pick it up again.
I love this list! It reminds me of all the awesome books I want to read too :P which is wayyy too many, but it's awesome to see which books have been your favourites this year :) Fixing Delilah, This gorgeous game, Psych Major syndrome... *desperately wants* :)
GREAT LIST! Just further emphasis that I need to read Past Perfect, Psych Major Syndrome, Saving June, This Gorgeous Game (If you say it was crawling-under-skin amazing, then I must pick it up once it gets here!) and all those in between.
Great list! I have read Stay, Fury and Stolen from your list - loved them all! I really want to read Die for Me, Saving June and Waterfall.
I was having problem with spacing too! I tried and tried to fix it, but it just didn't work. Stupid blogger! :(

Awesome post! I love Sarah Ockler's writing, and Divergent was definitely unputdownable! I'm putting the other titles I haven't read on my TBR list now,
Wow everyone is choosing Divergent. It must be really good.
I really wanted to put Graceling on my list as well. I seriously LOVED IT but I didn't read it this year (not for the first time any way)
I think Divergent might win the adrenalin-fuelled award for me as well (or certainly be in the running anyway!) That one had my heart pounding. I haven't read Past Perfect or Saving June yet but since they made both your and Nomes' lists I will be on the lookout for them for sure!
And aw, I love The Year of Secret Assignments. I've re-read that one countless times :)
BARRONS!
Ah, Nic! I love that I have the same choices as you for some categories, namely MOST BEAUTIFUL with WSW!!!
I love all your selections, and you know I often pick up a lot of recommendations from you. I know they were chosen with a lot of thought and care.
I can't believe I haven't read Psych Major yet, or Divergent, or Five Flavors of Dumb, or Fury! I'm epic fail.
Wonderful choices, my friend.

Such great picks, Nic! So many on my list already (many of them thanks to you!), but naturally I found a new one as well. This Gorgeous Game sounds really intriguing. :)

You have some great picks. I love Secret Assignments, and Divergent and Stolen. I wish I could get my hands on Psych Major syndrome and Fury though. Grrr...
Saving June and Psych Major Syndrome both look so good... not here in the US yet, are they? I also LOVED Divergent. And Graceling, as well. I particularly am in love with that Aussie cover! Great round-up of books, Nic! :)
THANK YOU for showing This Gorgeous Game some love! I thought that book was fabulous :)
Great picks and some I need to get to. I loved Graceling, so glad you included it!
Out of all the books you listed I've only read one of them and its Fixing Delilah. I pretty much want to read all the other ones you listed to see why you loved them so much.
I've heard a bunch of brilliant things about the Gorgeous Game - and your list seems to confirm them!
I'm seeing lots of Divergent on people list's too - so I guess I'll have to get around to that one asap!
And Graceling! *sigh* How I love that book. :)
Divergent would make an awesome movie. There are a couple of books on this list which I don't have on my wishlist so I'll be adding them when I have time :)
Oooo! *furiously scribbles down titles to put on to read list* Lol, am surprised to see my own book there cos it's getting super old now but aww thanks Nic!
