Jonah Griggs from On The Jellicoe Road
Jonah Griggs is a tank. His face is blunter, meaner than I remembered. Hair cropped. Arms folded. He has perfected the art of looking straight at someone while avoiding eye contact.
Jonah is no perfect guy. He is one of those flawed and tortured souls that keeps their heart and gentler side hidden away. But when he does love someone he loves them fiercely.
"When I turn around, he cups my face in his hands and he kisses me so deeply that I don't know who is breathing for who, but his mouth and tongue taste like warm honey. I don't know how long it lasts, but when I let go of him, I miss it already."
"Never,' he tells me in a tone full of ice, 'underestimate who or what I care for."
"If you weren't driving, I'd kiss you senseless," I tell him.
He swerves to the side of the road and stops the car abruptly.
"Not driving any more."

I can not explain my excitement when i saw that you used Jonah Griggs.
I did him for my book boyfriend a few weeks ago and found it so hard to get an actor/model that looked like the John in my mind. It's great seeing how everyone else sees him though.
And oh god the quotes you used are so good!
I have to say i am a bit of a fan of the whole tortured soul thing and its so obvious he loves Taylor so much which just makes me melt ahh!
